| We believe that the success of a project is how well it is thought out and planned. To deliver a project on time and within budget it is important to understand the project scope and the deliverables. Visayan utilizes proven project management disciplines which provide the customer with detailed documentation of what Visayan will be providing, and what we are not providing, so that there are no surprises at the completion of the project. A project can only be complete when all parties involved understand what "complete" means.

Prototyping
|
| We are strong believers in a prototype-early approach to product development. Many of our customers find themselves in the position of needing a prototype early in the product development cycle as a proof of concept, for consumer testing, or to aid in securing funding. Visayan is well positioned to produce prototypes rapidly, often within weeks of the start of a project. Many of our contracts are for an initial prototype, with the customer returning later for a production version.

Design Engineering

Visayan implements rigorous engineering standards to design, prototype, test and deliver all of our projects. When possible, our designs are RoHS compliant and we follow other applicable environmental and manufacturing requirements during the design process. We have a wide diversity of skills to address most any problem you may have.
We are microcontroller and FPGA experts. We have developed successful projects based on the whole range of available microcontrollers, from Atmel AVR, 8051 and PSoC to Freescale, ARM and Rabbit. We can produce a production-ready firmware design on a fast schedule. Customer communication is always a top priority at Visayan and all of our designs are documented reflecting this. We will understand your needs so that we can choose a microcontroller that achieves the right balance between cost, development time, and future flexibility. Design Validation

| We have the equipment and tools to provide extensive design validation of your project. Design validation provides a measure of 'correctness' to the project that relieves utilizing your customer as the test base. Validation criteria are written and the method approved by you before the project starts so that you will know to what level your design has been tested. Test results are provided to you in a format that can be used for documenting your product. If your product requires test lab qualification we will work with the test lab to guarantee that the design passes all necessary qualification testing necessary for your market.
